The saying "your eyebrows are sisters, not twins" describes my pair perfectly. Not only do they look nothing alike, I have this space at the start of my brow where it's completely bare. There's no waxing or over plucking horror story to back it up, that's just how they've always been really. That's one of the main reasons I fill in my brows - and of course, just because they look so bomb filled in.
I feel like I need to mention this beforehand, I'm not a beauty guru or MUA. The way I'm doing it may differ from your routine, but this is the way I like to do it and it's what works for me!
THE NATURAL BROWS
In the picture above, you can see what I mean about the bare spot at the start of my eyebrow. You can also take notice of the fact that I don't really have an arch and my brows are on more on the straight side (much to my dismay.. I wish I had a cute arch so bad!)
CLEAN 'EM UP
The first thing I'm going to do is brush out my brows and make sure all the little hairs are going the same way. I have some pretty long brow hairs, I know! I'm too nervous to cut them on my own in fear that I'll screw them up, so I make do until I go into get them threaded.
This eyebrow razor and pair of tweezers are my go-to's for cleaning up my brows. I use to go get them threaded every 2-3 weeks, but now I find myself going every once in a while just to get that sharp shape back.
The first thing I do pluck the hairs under my brow, making sure not to be excessive and over pluck. Once I've done that, I'll take the razor and clean up the top of my brow and near the tail end. If I find that I still have some hair under my brow, I'll go over it once or twice with the razor as well.
THE TOOLS
To fill in my brows I use the Ardell Pomade in the color "Dark Brown". I'n their little brow kit comes an angled brush (not pictured, but a spoolie is on the other end)
And the actual pomade - please excuse the cringe worthy state of mine. It looks like that because I've obviously been sticking my brush in and out of it.
For some reason the pomade appears to have specs of sparkles while in the the container, but when actually applied it doesn't show up. I'm not sure why it looks like that, but hey, I'm not complaining. Do't fix something thats not broken!
START SNATCHIN'
The first thing I do is underline the bottom of my brow first. I keep it darker towards the end and lighter towards the front.
Once I have that line done, I'll blend the front bit so it's not so harsh. I'll then line the top the same exact way and then I'll use the spoolie to disperse the product throughout my brow. I know a lot of people stray from filling in the front too much in fear that they'll get that "boxy brow", but due to the fact that the front part of my brow is completely bare, I tend to go back in and add some more color as needed.
Now that you've got those brows filled in, you're going to take your favorite concealer and use it to carve your little heart out.
Don't leave that light outer rim around your brows - make sure to blend, blend, blend!
Now to set my brows, get those unruly little hairs under control and add a bit more color, I'm going to use "make me brow". Once you've done that, you've officially slayed your brows!
What product do you use for your brows?
I love the way your eyebrows look. I definitely need to get myself one of those razors - I'm super fuzzy around the brows, it drives me insane!

Thank you, babe! I don't like them, but just have to work with what you got, right? Haha.
DeleteThose razors are a godsend! I see you're not from the US, but if you have the equivalent to a 99 cent store or dollar tree, you can find a 3 pack of them for just a dollar!
